Our Mission
The mission of Rocky Mountain Christian Ministries is to help people know God in an intimate and practical way, to fully enjoy the richness of their salvation, be genuinely transformed by His Word and Spirit, and to bring Christ’s influence into the world in which they live.
We Value
Biblical Authority And Its Application
We are committed to the clear and accurate communication of God’s Word in a way that ministers grace and urges obedience.
See 2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 1:22
Life Giving Relationships
We believe that God’s life flows through relationships—first relationship with God Himself, and then with one another. We are therefore committed to honoring and encouraging those relationships that God establishes within the body of Christ for our benefit.
See Ephesians 4:11-16
The Power of God’s Presence
We are committed to the continuation of the rich heritage of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit enjoyed by the church since its beginning.
See Ephesians 5:18; 1 Corinthians 12:31a; Romans 8:12-14
Prayerfulness
We believe that one of the primary missions of the church of Jesus Christ on earth is to release and enforce the victory of the cross through Spirit led prayer. We are therefore committed to saturating our lives, ministries, and activities in prayer, and interceding for others.
See Matthew 7:7-11; James 5:13-18
The Personal Fulfillment of the Great Commission
We are committed to the worldwide expansion of the Kingdom of God. To that end, we believe that every believer should be committed to winning the lost and making disciples of Jesus Christ.
See Matthew 28:18-20
World Missions
We are committed to investing our prayer and resources in fruitful mission works as led by the Holy Spirit, and the developing and deploying of missions teams.
See Matthew 28:18-20
Gracious Generosity
We are committed to living out the dynamic spirit of the cross through selfless, sacrificial, and liberal acts of giving. We believe that financial support of God’s Kingdom is both an act of worship, and a Christian responsibility.
See 2 Corinthians 8:7-15; 2 Corinthians 9:6-13; Philippians 4:10-19
The Diversity of Spiritual Gifting Within the Church, and Cooperation With One Another
We believe that God has uniquely gifted each believer to serve both the Body of Christ and the world with the love of Christ. We are committed to recognizing and giving place to the giftings in one another, and to faithfully serving one another with the gifts we have been given.
See Romans 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:8-11
